City light

People really love their mobile phones.
I was transfixed by the light in this area. It managed to illuminate silhouettes and halo them in sunlight. Those of you familiar with my blog will know that picking out people absorbed in their business in a city I find consuming and beautiful is a subject that really interests me. I know that often I’m one of them.

In nearby Shoreditch I waited patiently for someone to appear and fill the frame if this beautiful storefront. Often the right person doesn’t appear. This man did. Obviously I’m unsure of his story, but without looking at me he turned and shrugged in my direction before standing for a few moments and going about his business.
